Língua e imaginário: a concepção de língua de professores de português da rede pública de ensino

Abstract

Este trabalho constitui um estudo sobre o imaginário de língua de professores formados em Letras que trabalham com a língua portuguesa em suas aulas. Os objetivos desta pesquisa visam refletir sobre o que os discursos destes educadores têm a nos dizer no que se refere ao imaginário de língua construído por eles durante a vida acadêmica e a docência. Além disso, ao longo do trabalho serão discutidas questões referentes à influência da mídia no imaginário social e a forma como os PCN’s abordam o ensino de português. Para isso foram analisados, a partir da perspectiva da Análise de Discurso francesa, sequências discursivas retiradas dos textos produzidos pelos professores. Tais textos são comentários críticos sobre a notícia “Mec lava as mãos no caso dos livros com erros” retirada do site do jornal O globo. As reflexões acerca destes comentários mostram que, ainda hoje, o imaginário de língua que considera adequado somente o ensino tradicional sem dar espaço para as variedades da língua está presente no discurso dos docentes e isso traz consequências para o ensino, as quais serão problematizadas ao fim deste trabalho.

This work constitutes a study about the language imaginary of teachers graduated in Languages that work with Portuguese in their classes. The objectives of this research are to reflect on what the discourses of these teachers have to tell us in relation to the language imaginary constructed by them during academic and teaching life. In addition, throughout the work will be discussed questions regarding the influence of the media in the social imaginary and how the PCN’s approach the teaching of Portuguese. For this, from the perspective of the French Discourse Analysis, discursive sequences from the texts produced by the teachers were analyzed. These texts are critical comments about the news " Mec lava as mãos no caso dos livros com erros " from the website O Globo. The reflections on these comments show that, even nowadays, the language imaginary that considers only traditional teaching, without giving space to the varieties of the language, is present in the teachers' discourse and it has consequences in teaching, which will be problematized in the end of this work.
