A Propriedade Intelectual no ensino médio: uma proposta de método de implementação para o PROEJA

Abstract

O presente trabalho abordou a Propriedade Intelectual dentro do ensino médio integrado ao técnico, através da modalidade PROEJA (Programa Nacional de Integração da Educação Profissional com a Educação Básica na Modalidade de Educação de Jovens e Adultos), onde tem-se alunos em fase final de ensino básico, em busca por uma melhor colocação no mercado de trabalho por meio da sua qualificação. Em contrapartida, temos as empresas demandando por profissionais para atuação nas diferentes áreas da Propriedade Intelectual. O objetivo deste trabalho foi propor um método para a inserção da temática da Propriedade Intelectual no ensino médio integrado ao técnico (PROEJA). Para o cumprimento deste objetivo, utilizou-se os objetivos específicos: Definir o perfil dos alunos do PROEJA do IFRS campus Porto Alegre e seu grau de entendimento sobre Propriedade Intelectual; analisar junto aos docentes do PROEJA do IFRS campus Porto Alegre, a melhor estratégia para a inserção no ensino desta temática; propor um guia ajustado às expectativas de docentes e discentes, que possibilite o ensino da Propriedade Intelectual; e por fim validar com os alunos o interesse no guia proposto. O trabalho foi apresentado por meio do método Design Science Research (DSR), aliado ao estudo de caso.

The present research approached Intellectual Property within high school integrated to technical, through the PROEJA modality (National Program for the Integration of Professional Education with Basic Education in the Youth and Adult Education Mode), where have students in the final stage of basic education, in search of a better placement in the job market through their qualification. On the other hand, we have companies demanding professionals to work in different areas of Intellectual Property. The objective of this research was to propose a method for the insertion of the theme of Intellectual Property in the high school integrated to the technician (PROEJA). In order to achieve this objective, was used the following specific objectives: To define the profile of PROEJA students at the Porto Alegre campus and their level of understanding of Intellectual Property; to analyze, together with PROEJA teachers at the IFRS Porto Alegre campus, the best strategy for the insertion in the teaching of this theme; to propose a guide adjusted to the expectations of teachers and students, which makes possible the teaching of Intellectual Property; and finally to validate with the students the interest in the proposed guide. The work was presented through the Design Science Research (DSR) method, combined with the case study.
