Um brinde aos 65 anos do Curso Técnico em Viticultura e Enologia do IFRS — Campus Bento Gonçalves

Abstract

Esta pesquisa, vinculada ao Curso de Pós-Graduação em Educação Profissional e Tecnológica — ProfEPT (Mestrado Profissional), teve como objetivo geral resgatar documentos históricos e memórias do Curso Técnico em Viticultura e Enologia do IFRS — Campus Bento Gonçalves no período de 1959 a 2024. Integra a Linha de Pesquisa Organização e Memórias de Espaços Pedagógicos na EPT e do Macroprojeto 4 — História e Memórias no contexto da EPT. A abordagem da pesquisa foi qualitativa e exploratória. A investigação foi orientada pelo seguinte problema: Quais são os registros documentais e as memórias dos protagonistas do Curso Técnico em Viticultura e Enologia do IFRS — Campus Bento Gonçalves, ao longo do período de 1959 a 2024, que contribuem para o registro da história e das memórias do curso? Para a coleta de dados, utilizou-se a técnica de grupo focal com quatro participantes — docentes e técnico-administrativos, todos egressos do curso — e uma análise documental de registros escritos e imagens que abrangem desde o período anterior à criação do curso, em 1959, até os dias atuais. A perspectiva interpretativa, fundamentada na teoria adotada na dissertação, orientou a análise dos dados. Criada em 1959, a Escola de Viticultura e Enologia deu origem ao IFRS — Campus Bento Gonçalves. O curso, pioneiro no Brasil, completou 65 anos de existência em 2024. Como resultados da pesquisa, destacam-se o resgate de documentos históricos e imagens, como jornais, fotografias e registros administrativos, e a vinculação histórica e cultural entre o curso e o legado dos imigrantes italianos que se estabeleceram na região, o que aponta para a possibilidade de reconhecimento do curso como expressão do patrimônio cultural imaterial local. A partir dos dados coletados, foi elaborado um produto educacional em formato de documentário, com o objetivo de registrar a história e a memória do Curso Técnico em Viticultura e Enologia do atual IFRS — Campus Bento Gonçalves, além de contribuir com abordagens de ensino em todos os níveis de oferta da formação em Viticultura e Enologia, tanto com estudantes quanto com servidores.

This research, part of the Professional and Technological Education Graduate Program — ProfEPT, Professional Master's Degree, has the overall objective of recovering historical documents and memories of the technical course in Viticulture and Oenology at IFRS — Campus Bento Gonçalves, from 1959 to 2024. The research is linked to the line of research Organization and Memories of Pedagogical Spaces in PTE, Macroproject 4 — History and memories in the context of PTE. The research approach is qualitative and exploratory. The investigation was guided by the research problem: What are the document register and memories of the protagonists of the Technical Course in Viticulture and Oenology at IFRS — Bento Gonçalves Campus, from 1959 to 2024, that contribute to the record of the history and memories of the course? Data collection used the focus group technique with four participants — professors and technical-administrative staff, who were also former students of the course — in addition to documentary analysis of written records and images covering the period from before the formal creation of the course, in 1959, to the present day. The interpretive perspective, based on the theory adopted in the dissertation, was added to the data analysis. Created in 1959, the School of Viticulture and Oenology originated the IFRS — Campus Bento Gonçalves. The course, a pioneer in Brazil, celebrated its 65th anniversary in 2024. The results of the research highlight the recovery of historical documents and images, such as newspapers, photography and administrative documents, and the historical and cultural link between the Technical Course in Viticulture and Oenology and the legacy of Italian immigrants who settled in the region, what suggests the recognition of the course as an expression of the local intangible cultural heritage. Based on the data collected, an educational product in documentary format was developed with the aim of recording the history and memory of the Technical Course in Viticulture and Oenology of the current IFRS — Campus Bento Gonçalves, as well as supporting teaching approaches at all levels of viticulture and oenology education, both for students and staff.
