O ser humano integral no Ensino Médio Integrado: um olhar para a formação humana omnilateral de estudantes de primeiro ano no IFSUL Campus Camaquã

Abstract

A presente pesquisa vinculada ao Programa de Mestrado Profissional em Educação Profissional e Tecnológica (ProfEPT) teve como finalidade investigar a necessidade, possibilidades e limites de um processo de acompanhamento analisando as dificuldades, anseios e expectativas com que os estudantes de primeiro ano se deparam ao entrar no Ensino Médio Integrado na EPT. O estudo inicialmente aborda a formação humana integral e o ser humano integral e omnilateral que a Educação Profissional e Tecnológica (EPT) preconiza. O local de pesquisa foi o Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia Sul-rio- grandense - Campus Camaquã, tendo como participantes estudantes ingressantes no primeiro ano dos três cursos integrados, a saber, Técnico em Controle Ambiental (TCA), Técnico em Automação Industrial (TAI) e Técnico em Informática (TINF), professores que ministram aulas para esses estudantes, membros da equipe de apoio ao ensino, vinculado ao Departamento de Ensino, Pesquisa e Extensão, e pais e/ou responsáveis dos estudantes participantes. Foram utilizados como instrumentos de coleta de dados questionários diagnósticos com perguntas abertas e fechadas (múltipla escolha) e entrevistas semiestruturadas, em que foram questionadas suas opiniões, impressões e percepções em relação ao objetivo desta pesquisa. Desenvolvida numa perspectiva qualitativa, seguindo os tipos de pesquisa descritiva e exploratória, a análise dos dados foi baseada na análise textual discursiva, tendo a princípio as seguintes categorias de análise: formação humana integral, ser jovem e ser aluno no Ensino Médio Integrado e processo de acolhimento e acompanhamento. O Produto Educacional que acompanha esta dissertação, elaborado a partir da análise destes dados, foi desenvolvido com o propósito de contribuir com a promoção da qualidade do ensino e o sucesso educativo através da acolhida, orientação e acompanhamento dos discentes no segundo semestre em seu primeiro ano de curso. O produto apresentado através de um guia em formato digital (PDF) considera os resultados da pesquisa e, nesse contexto, servirá de base para posteriores acompanhamentos e desenvolvimento de procedimentos que favoreçam a permanência de estudantes ingressantes.

This research linked to the Professional Master's Program in Professional and Technological Education (ProfEPT) aimed to investigate the need, possibilities and limits of a accompaniment process by analyzing the difficulties, desires and expectations that first-year students face when entering the High School Integrated in EPT. The study initially addresses integral human formation and the integral, omnilateral human being that Professional and Technological Education (EPT) advocates. The research location was the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Sul - Camaquã Campus, with participants being students entering the first year, from the three integrated courses, namely Environmental Control Technician (TCA), Automation Technician Industrial (TAI) and IT Technician (TINF), teachers who teach classes for these students, members of the Teaching Support Team, linked to the Department of Teaching, Research and Extension and parents and/or guardians of the participating students. Diagnostic questionnaires with open and closed questions (multiple choice) and semi-structured interviews were used as data collection instruments, where their opinions, impressions and perceptions in relation to the objective of this research were questioned. Developed from a qualitative perspective, following the types of descriptive and exploratory research, data analysis was based on discursive textual analysis and initially having the following categories of analysis: integral human formation, being young and being a student in integrated high school and the process of reception and monitoring. The Educational Product that accompanies this dissertation, prepared from the analysis of this data, was developed with the purpose of contributing to promoting the quality of teaching and educational success through the reception, guidance and monitoring of students in the second semester of their first year of course. The Product presented through a guide in digital format (PDF) considers the results of the research and in this context will serve as a basis for subsequent monitoring and development of procedures that favor the retention of incoming students.
