Formação de professoras/es: olhares para o corpo docente do município gaúcho de Maquiné

Abstract

A educação é uma das áreas de referência para a formação de sujeitos críticos e conscientes, demanda cada vez mais pertinente em nossa sociedade. Para isso, é de suma importância olhar para a formação daquelas/es que estão na linha de frente desse processos: professoras/es. O presente trabalho tem como objetivo investigar aspectos da educação básica do município de Maquiné ao que se refere à formação das/os professoras/es, bem como infraestrutura existente. Para tanto, realizamos um estudo do Plano Municipal de Educação, Plano de Carreira do Magistério Municipal, além de entrevista com responsáveis da Secretaria Municipal de Educação, a fim de um levantamento atualizado sobre o presente momento. No intuito de investigar a relação das/os professoras/es com sua formação, elaboramos um questionário onde as/os docentes teriam a oportunidade de responder sobre sua formação acadêmica e atuação profissional. Conseguimos um total de 26 questionários respondidos, 25 por mulheres e um homem. A grande maioria reside no município de Maquiné e tem formação em Pedagogia, o que podemos relacionar ao fato de que as 9 escolas municipais disponibilizam educação infantil e ensino fundamental anos iniciais e apenas 2 destas atendem anos finais do ensino fundamental. Com relação a atuação docente, as/o professoras/professor afirmaram, de forma majoritária, que a experiência cotidiana e a formação inicial são aspectos que mais contribuem na profissão, e que realizam formação continuada para aprimorar os conhecimentos do currículo. Além disso, afirmam que não optariam por outra profissão, pois acreditam na função social que desenvolvem na sociedade, mas reconhecem que há grande desvalorização política e financeira para com a/o profissional de educação. Entendemos que mapear a estrutura da educação básica, torna-se relevante tendo em vista a ausência de estudos nessa esfera para o município de Maquiné podendo assim, contribuir para um melhor desenvolvimento da educação municipal, seja para a formação dos discentes, seja para a valorização docente.

Education is one of the areas of reference for the formation of critical and conscious persons, a demand that is increasingly relevant in our society. For this, it is extremely important to look at the formation of those who are at the forefront of these processes: teachers. This work aims to investigate aspects of basic education in the city of Maquiné with regard to the training of teachers, as well as existing infrastructure. To this end, we conducted a study of the Municipal Education Plan, Municipal Mastership Career Plan, in addition to interviews with officials from the Municipal Education Secretariat, in order to obtain a reliable survey at the present moment. In order to investigate the relationship of teachers with their education, we prepared a questionnaire where teachers would have the opportunity to answer about their academic background and professional performance. We obtained a total of 26 questionnaires answered, 25 by women and one man. The vast majority reside in the city of Maquiné and have a degree in Pedagogy, which can be related to the fact that the 9 municipal schools provide early childhood education and elementary education and only 2 of these attend the final years of elementary education. Regarding the teaching performance, the teachers affirmed, in a major way, that the daily experience and the initial formation are aspects that contribute the most to the profession, and that they carry out continuing education to improve the knowledge of the curriculum. In addition, they state that they would not choose another profession, as they believe in the social function they develop in society, but recognize that there is a great political and financial devaluation towards the education professional. We understand that mapping the structure of basic education, becomes relevant in view of the absence of studies in this sphere for the city of Maquiné, thus being able to contribute to a better development of municipal education, either for the training of students, or for the valorization of teachers.
